Introducing CETG

Why the Centre exists

Technological change is reshaping international power, economic security, and the institutions that govern the global order.

The Centre for Emerging Technology and Geopolitics was established to examine these transformations through independent, rigorous, and interdisciplinary research. Drawing on perspectives from international relations, economics, law, political science, history, technology policy, and regional studies, the Centre seeks to produce analysis that is internationally informed, analytically rigorous, and relevant to policymakers, businesses, international organisations, academia, and civil society.

Through research, strategic analysis, publications, advisory services, and policy engagement, CETG supports better understanding of the opportunities and challenges arising from technological, geopolitical, and economic change. The Centre also provides independent strategic advice and policy analysis to governments, international organisations, businesses, and other institutions.

Independent, rigorous, and interdisciplinary research on how emerging technologies are reshaping geopolitics, economic security, and the evolving international order.
